What version of majordomo are you running? Is the warning message from
sendmail? What does the sendmail log file have to say about this warning?
What are the ownerships of this directory? What OS is it running on?
If you are running sendmail 8.9 or higher, either security in sendmail
has to be turned down (bad idea), or you have to increase security on
the directories leading to your lists files. Sendmail does not allow
for group writes on any directory in the tree to the lists file. This
includes /, /usr, /usr/local, /usr/local/majordomo, and ..../lists.
