Did you read the FAQ? Have you looked at the example files?
OK, what OS are you running? What version of sendmail? Did
you install from an RPM, pkg, or the tar.gz file? Do you have
a majordom(o) user in the passwd/shadow and group files? Do
you have a majordomo alias defined in /etc/aliases? (assuming
you are running sendmail) If in fact, you are running sendmail,
did you set Tmajordomo to define the majordomo user as trusted?
Can you use a "real mail client", not a command line tool, to
write messages/commands to majordomo? What do the aliases file
entries for your test list look like?
