I've been working on this problem for a little while and have had no
success in solving it.
I am running Linux 2.2.18, Apache 1.3.17, Sendmail 8.11.2, MajorDomo
1.94.5, and MajorCool latest release (1.3.2?). MajorDomo, itself,
works without a problem. So does Apache. The problem is when you go
to 'http://<host>/cgi-bin/majordomo'. You receive the stock MajorCool
list manager web page. If you enter in an email address and hit the
'GO' button, an error is returned.
: ABORT
shlock: '/home/majordomo' is not writable by UID 80 GID 80
Recipient names must be specified
The 'writable' error, I understand. I can and have eliminated it by
changing the permisions and add the 'DONT_BLAME_SENDMAIL' define. But
I still get the 'Recipient' error. I've been trying to figure out
where this is coming from. No luck.
Please, if you have any insight, let me know.
