Subject: List obliges all senders. Hmmm...

Greetings!

Recently installed majordomo, using sendmail.
Also installed: Majorcool and Mhonarc.
OS: Latest Free BSD, Latest sendmail
Remote user on large host, SSH/telnet available.
I don't have root access, so I configured the wrapper
using my UID and GID. All appropriate folders belong
to me, so the wrapper works throws no errors
and performs as expected.

Both a main list and digest are installed.
Subscription works fine. Unsub works fine.
Everthing works perfectly, except that anyone can
post to it, even non-subscribers. The list
obligingly sends from the list address back to
the non-subscribed sender. Sounds like a
recipe for spam. Help!

It's configured
as auto-confirm for both
the main list and the digest.

Should I post parts of the aliases, virtusertable, or
config files or is this more likely a problem
with the wrapper?

Regards,

Chris
