Look for the "mungedomain" directive in your list.config and set it to
"yes". This is supposed to make "user@host.domain.com" equivalent to
"user@domain.com" as far as Majordomo is concerned. It may or may not
work for you depending on what MD version you're using (has that ever been
fixed?).
Another possibly more reliable solution is for your Pine user to do the
following in his Pine configuration: Look for the "user-domain" option
near the top of the Pine config, and set it to "domain.com". Assuming his
ISP has not blocked access to that option, it will override Pine's default
behavior of using the full hostname after the "@".
