It is not the intro that I want to get rid of --- it is in fact very
informative.

What I want to get rid of is the "succeeded" message that is sent at the
same time. This message seems to be generated directly from the script
itself so the message can not be changed without affecting all of the
"command response" e-mails (I think).

If I could somehow append a message only to the initial "success" message
(in fact the intro message I have created would be what I want to add) I
would be happy.

So after this clarification --- does anyone know how to make this happen?

Thanks,

Will

I look at this as a "one time" and "informative" welcome/intro that never
has to be dealt with again. If you feel your subscribers would be
intolerant
of this, try shutting off the welcome message in your listname.config file.
welcome = no

If someone does want to see the intro, they can send a command to majordomo
to get it.

intro listname

Perhaps this is a bug, perhaps it is by design, but you have options to
solve
the situation at your disposal. The choice is yours.
