Matt suggested editing the majordomo.cf file under the $global_taboo_headers section and add the subject string. (BTW: Thanks for writing back so quickly Matt.)
This suggestion would work, but only for that specific mail loop. I'm hoping for something that will prevent (within reason) all future mail loop problems. Since our GroupWise mail system just adds 're:' to the subject when using auto-reply messages, I cannot create a bounce rule (or risk bouncing a lot of legitimate messages).
Is their a way to get all messages to majordomo@host.com to bounce on 're:' but leave the lists free (they reply to sender be default)? Hmm... but that would mess up the subscribe process. *scratching my head*
