I'm currently running a majordomo mailing list on webspace that I rent from
an ISP.
For the last couple of months I also rent a dedicated server to host some
of my other sites and now the time has come to move my list over to my own
server :-)
(that and the fact that the ISP hosting the list is blacklisted as a spam
relayer makes it interesting to move now).
However... I still have a lot of questions regarding the installation.
Does anybody have experience in setting up majordomo 1.9x for a virtual
server environment on a server running the Plesk administrator tool and of
course qmail instead of sendmail... ?
(all the people from Plesk can tell me is that it should be possible, but
how ???)
I had a look at majordomo 2 as well, but judging from a couple of mails on
the dev list, it would seem that majordomo 2 is not fit for my purpose
(there was a discussion about not being able to subscribe with the same
address to both digest and non-digest and for me this IS absolutely necessary)
But to get back to the heart of the matter. Which qmail patches/setup do
you all recommend. I see some recommendations both on the web and in the
book about mailing lists, but what's best ?
