Dear Majordomo-users:

I know this is pre-school stuff, but everyone has to start somewhere, right?

First let me say that I am just an owner of ONE list on a mahjordomo. I
don't have access to the majordomo.cf file.

I am confused about approvinbg posts on a moderated list. Let me make some
statements of what I think I should do so tyoy can correct me.

1. When I receive a message to apoprove, I am supposed to add
"approved:password" to the top plus a blank line and send it back to the
list address which in my case is cybervpm@drizzle.com.
2. The post should then show up on the list with:
    a. the original posters address in the FROM: line
    b. the list's fronter/footer
    c. none of the technical info in the header
    d. the subject line the original sender used

Clearly since I'm asking this is NOT what happens. Instead I get my address
in the FROM: line, all of the technical info and the "BOUNCE:" subject line.
It looks terrible. I look terrible.

Here's what I've tried:

- Sending the piost to majordomo address. RESULT: A message that tells me
"'Approved:etc.' is not a valid command"
- Stripping all the technical info. RESULT: it still looks like it comes
from me

What am I doing wrong?

Another question: Can ANYONE I designate use my "approved:[asswoprd"
command? If yes, how exactly do I designate that? Remember I am the master
only of my one list.

Thanks!

Nan
