I have not been reading all of the replies to the thread, but
I do not think anyone has mentioned the bulk_mailer. The
bulk_mailer will significantly increase delivery time. You
should try to install it. There are many posts regarding the
bulk_mailer in the archives if you experience any problems.
Also, try sorting the names of subscribers in your subscriber
file by their domain.
