I've gotten this error before when my e-mail client wrapped lines in the configuration.  Is this what's happening?  Try sending the config to yourself and see if it's wrapped inappropriately.
If that's the case, you can try adjusting the wrap width setting for your e-mail client, or manually rewrap the configuration so that all lines are shorter than your e-mail client's wrap width.
