How did you create this list "exactly"?  Majordomo does not
know how to create a list automagically.  You must have done
something.  If all you did was touch a file in the lists 
directory, you are in no danger of this interferring with
your regular address.  If you created a list via a GUI of
some sort, you will need your system admin to undo the 
damage.
