Thanks for the suggestion. Although this might be the logical approach, the user does not regard it as viable.
An update: I did break the 400 kb barrier with a 1.7 mb file. Majordomo, however, then rejected a 3.5 mb file. This sounds to me as if I'm running up against space limitations.
Any thoughts?
