Subject: Best information on Outlook's handling of "Sender" versus "From"?

I'm looking for the "best" resources for dealing with the way Outlook
handles the "Sender" header, hopefully with some solid data and not just
hearsay. Of particular interest is definitive data on which versions of
Outlook exhibit which behavior, something lacking in everything I've
found so far.

I did some Google searches and was, as usual, somewhat overwhelmed. So
can anyone help me here?

(For those of you who aren't sure what I'm talking about, Outlook has a
"feature" wherein the "Sender" header takes precedence over the "From"
header. In some versions, it uses them together with "sender on behalf
of from", in others it seems to completely drop the "From").
