Plain text email is ONE thing that all computers and computer users understand.
Not everyone uses email clients that are webified. As such, you have choices
with your majordomo installation. Enforce plain text mail by using tools such
as demime in front of your list, and maintain peace and harmony across ALL your
list members, or allow HTML messages in your list realizing that footers will
not show up because majordomo doesn't MIME, and some members will complain of
seeing HTML junk/garbage tags in their plain text mail reader. Better yet,
since this is an often asked question, write a patch or plugin to majordomo
fronter/footer code so it can be MIME aware, but this does not solve the issue
of users without HTML capable mail clients.
