I have it working on a OS X Server.
Here are the things I had to do (other than the steps in the install document):
1. In majordomo.cf, I had to hardcode the default $homedir to
/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5
2. created the directory /usr/adm/sm.bin and symlinked wrapper
(wrapper -> /usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/wrapper)
I *think* that's it.
