Since I have been unsuccessful getting this to the list members
by attachment to the list, the script for creating/generating
new mailing lists can be downloaded from;
ftp://ftp.ccsf.org/majordomo-contrib/newlist2.pl.gz
The file needs to be decompressed with gzip -d, and edited to
assure a match to your environment prior to execution. Primarily
the /usr/bin/perl line at the very top of the script. Everything
else "should" be semi-intelligent. Designed with RedHat and
sendmail users in mind, but should work in other environments
with very little tweeking.
Pease try this out (if you have root access to your majordomo
box) and provide feedback. I would like to be able to provide
improvements, but I can't fix what I do not know is broken,
misspelled, or misleading.
