"Service Unavailable" is an indication that you have smrsh enabled in 
sendmail.  This is true by default on redhat installations higher than
5.2.

As the root user do;

mkdir /etc/smrsh # this may already exist
ln -s /usr/bin/majordomo-1.94.5/wrapper /etc/smrsh/wrapper

Better yet, use the majordomo-1.94.5-2.i386.rpm on the redhat 6.1
powertools CD.  This will get you up and running faster than anything
else I can recommend.
