Actually I have created a seperate mail box for the test list
in the Mail Server (separate machine). The mail appended to the test's mail
box.
Does majordomo create mail accounts automatically for any lists that
we requested to create? -I thought it should be done by us :-)
Currently I have set the whereami value in the majordomo.cf as follows
$whereami = "TestMail.OP.com";
where as TestMail.OP.com is the suffix for all majordomo related mail
accounts.
I run majordomo in a sepearate machine and it's hosts file has following
entry
<IP Addess> linuxsamba.erunway.com
Please verify whether I have configured the System Properly.
Note:
When I sent a mail to majordomo (majordomo@TestMail.OP.com) to get available
lists,
I wrote 'lists' in the body of mail. But I did not get a reply from
majordomo.
But I can browse available lists using majorcool. Why it behaves like this?
Pls respond to this
Thanks
Piyal

What do you mean "the mailing list itself gets it"? Did you create a
mailbox for "test"? You shouldn't -- you should create aliases that
deliver it to the list. Do you mean it gets appended to "test"'s
mailbox? If so, you got your aliases very wrong.
