David,

If you change the unix permissions so the commands don't work, nothing else
will work either. You don't want that.

The who and which commands have just the three states: open, closed and
list. I set mine to list so members of the list can find out what lists
they are on. I have over 50 lists and many are related and members can be
on several.

Just my thoughts.

As the owner, you have access they don't, I think.

Hi,

Having installed MajorDomo via my webhosts interface panel, I'm now
attempting to fine tune MD.

I want who & which turned off and in the .config file for my list have this
as :
who_access = Closed

Yet I'm still able to get a response using who and can see whose on the
list.

The file permissions are
-rw-r----- on the .config file

Any ideas as to why it may not be working ?
Would I need to 'convert' my list to a private list ?

The lists directory has the following permissions
drwxr-xr-x

many thanks for any suggestions.

regards
David
