To any of you gurus who understand both majordomo and spamassassin:
I run several small email lists that people try to spam every once in a
while. The general result is that:
- 1. majordomo bounces the spam, because it doesn't come from a list
member
- 2. spamassassin catches the bounce message and tags it as spam (because,
of course, the message contains all the orginal spam)
The thing is, that before forwarding the message to razor, I need to:
- strip off both the spamassassin markup (easy - pipe through spamassassin
-d), AND...
- remove the stuff that majordomo changes (headers, BOUNCE info, etc.)
The later task is what I need some advice on. In essence, I want to do
PART of what the majordomo "approve" script does (restore the message to
its original form), but instead of adding an Approved: line and sending
the message to the list, I want to forward the message to razor.
So... has anybody already solved this problem - say by writing a script
that does this all automagically?
Thanks very much,
Miles Fidelman
