Good choice, though I prefer Sendmail because I know it better and
therefore, it's easier to configure. I attempted Qmail once and was quickly
overwhelmed and dismayed at all the new entries in my passwd file. I
decided to stick with Sendmail. But, there is plenty of help for Qmail,
starting with the document, Life With Qmail, which can be found through
www.google.com.

Just export the addresses to a flat text file, one address per line, then
make that file your listname in ~/majordomo-n.nn.n/lists.

Majordomo doesn't handle that part of the system. Qmail will, however, give
you that information, especially if it allows usage of tools like mailq -v
which shows the current queue, including descriptive messages indicating
success or failure.
