Hi,
I'm using majordomo 1.94.5 on slackware 7.1 and it's work
great!
I'm trying to install it on a new server: slackware 8.0
with sendmail 8.12.3
Majordomo seems treat the command (ex help) but I have no
respond of him or no error message.
If i do like as a normal user ./wrapper config-test:
Nothing bad found! Majordomo _should_ work correctly.
I have a user/group majordom:
majordom:x:1006:103:,,,:/usr/local/majordomo:/bin/bash
majordom:x:103:
In my sendmail.cf:
O AliasFile=/usr/local/majordomo/majordomo.aliases
Tmajordom
In the Makefile:
PERL = /usr/bin/perl
CC = gcc
W_HOME = /usr/local/majordomo
W_USER = 1006
W_GROUP = 103
WRAPPER_OWNER = root
WRAPPER_GROUP = $(W_GROUP)
WRAPPER_MODE = 4755
POSIX = -DPOSIX_UID=$(W_USER) -DPOSIX_GID=$(W_GROUP)
In the majordomo.cf:
$whereami = "maildev.cegeptr.qc.ca";
$homedir = "/usr/local/majordomo";
$sendmail_command = "/usr/sbin/sendmail";
$mailer = "$sendmail_command -oi -oee -f\$sender";
$bounce_mailer = "$sendmail_command -oi -oee -f\$sender -t";
In the majordomo.aliases:
majordomo: "|/usr/local/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"
owner-majordomo: root
majordomo-owner: root
In my Log (majordomo directory):
May 30 20:54:11 maildev.cegeptr.qc.ca majordomo[2308]
{root@maildev.cegeptr.qc.ca} help
It's the same thing on my slack 7.1
