Hi, Im finally able to post to this group..
I'm off to bed soon, But let me start off, by asking :-
I see in the INSTALL File, references to Makefile, and C Compiler...
I have a fairly-good knowledge of Perl, & do my own Perl programming &
files, however I am not an "expert" as yet.
Ive seen references to "Makefile" in the past, But ive never used it before
- I just directly edit/change the perl files directly... - & so far, so
good (on other systems / Perl files)
In addition to previous message -
:- Ive copied the Majordomo files into the /cgi-bin/majordomo directory of
Is this right ? Or should it be in the /usr/bin etc.. directory ??
2) I also see references in the INSTALL file, about a C-Compiler..
I'm on a Win 98 System, & have no C-Compiler.
Do I need a C-Compiler ? & if so, Where can i d/load it ?
3) I *think* I d/loaded the G'zipped version of Majordomo from this site :-
Is that for all versions of windows / Browsers ?
4) Is there such thing as a "ready-to-go" download version - For Windows ?
(I'll be up a bit, But if not - Catch you later)....
