When you get an error that states:
The new config file for listname was NOT accepted because:
unknown key | keyword.| in file listname.new.config at
line 38
Do I count each unhashed line w/ words in it including the words END?
My config was set up by my host and I'm trying to edit it but I keep getting
the error above... I'm supposed to be able to edit it as per my host
instructions...
If I'm counting right I come to this line in the config that is #38:
# noadvertise [regexp_array] (/./) <majordomo>
# If the requestor name matches one of these regexps, then the list
# will not be listed in the output of a lists command. Noadvertise
# overrides advertise.
noadvertise << END
/./
END
Line 38 is noadvertise, line 39 is /./ and line 40 is END...
The above was added in by my host, I haven't touched it... What do I need
to do to this line to make the new config work? I tried changing the /./ to
/.*/ as per this webpage:
http://users.ox.ac.uk/cgi-bin/safeperl/majordom/majordomo?noadvertise and
this one:
http://www.helpdesk.umd.edu/topics/email/lists/majordomo/293/
but it didn't work...
