Hi all,
new to list and majordomo (having inherited the system). And of course got a
problem.
Trying to send out to a list we have created, we get: (and I've substituted
realnames with "<list...>")
Aug 06 18:03:16 <listserver> resend[21544] {<listname>} ABORT Mailer
/usr/sbin/sendmail -oi -oee
-f <owner-listname>@<listserver> <listname>-outgoing exited unexpectedly
with error 65535
Google search reveals little about this problem. Also searched for meaning
of the "wrappers" pgm syntax, to no avail.
So:
1) the mail list is 248,000+
2) aliases file says:
<listname>: "| /usr/local/majordomo/wrapper resend -p bulk -A -a
/usr/local/lists/<listname>.passwd -M 10000 -R -l <listname> -f <list>-owner
-h <listserver> -s <listname-outgoing>"
My Questions:
Any advice on where to find the syntax meaning of wrappers?
My guess is the list is too big. Any suggestions on list sizes?
Notes:
this majordomo is ~3 years old
OS is BSDI BSD/OS 4.0.1 (1999)
Any suggestions gratefully accepted
cheers
Graham
