I have searched the archives for hours and not found an answer to this
question. I am running RedHat Linx 7.2 and Majordomo Version 1.94.5. I
have a program called Webppliance by Ensim installed which is used to
create mailing lists. Now, I can create a list and add users and if I
send a message to that list all e-mail addresses get the email, so I
assumed that Majordomo was working.
However, if I send commands to say majordomo@fivebuckhost.com such as
help, lists, config, or whatever I never get a response, NEVER. I don't
get bounced messages, I don't get messages to root about an error, I
don't get anything. I have a list called clients@fivebuckhost.com which
works when sending e-mails, but I can't do anything else, and users
can't subscribe/unsubscribe from the lists!
Any ideas?
