This is called an "owner" or a "moderator" in majordomo.  If your
list is not moderated, that address also defaults to the "owner".
Look through your /etc/aliases file for 
hotdogs-owner: jdoe@example.com
or 
owner-hotdogs: jdoe@example.com

and change jdoe@example.com to bonnie.j.martens@verizon.net
