For most of our internal mailing lists we use manually maintained includes
referenced in /etc/mail/aliases. Some of them are starting to get hit by
spam, so I want to convert them to Majordomo lists so I can exclude posts
from non-members. For most that's no problem because I've used Majordomo
for many years to manage a number of external lists. However some of the
internal lists are "nested", where "list-a" contains the addresses of
"list-b", "list-c", "list-d", and so on, and "list-a" itself may be nested
within "list-z".
Are there any problems with nested Majordomo lists? Anything to watch out
for? I'll re-read the docs and will set up some test lists to see what
happens, but and words of wisdom from those of you who run nested Majoromo
lists (especially with multiple levels of nesting) will be greatly
appreciated.
