Thank you for the kind words. I was kind of bitten by the old idea
behind shareware/freeware. If you use an application that you do not
pay cash money for, you contribute by coding, documenting, or supporting
that application. You can't just take without giving.
Back when I first started using majordomo, I could not code, and my
writing skills were not up to public consumption, but I felt I could
help others in this forum where sharing my successes and failures
might be useful to newbies and old-timers alike.
I get a kick out of your HFMIC comment, but I really am not any kind of
a stake holder here. I have no control over this list, the product, or
any of the other fine users out there. I am just someone that downloaded
majordomo for free in the early '90s, and stayed with it ever since. I
can't even remember what version of FreeBSD or linux I had back then.
My contributions should have paid for that copy several times over, but I
do find a level of joy in helping others achieve success. Your comments
confirm that I must be doing that.
Thanks again,
Dan Liston
