May be better, faster, . . but unless you have 10,000 users it's not worth 
the trouble. Besides, there are some isues with the license - it is 
*definately* NOT Open Source.

Sendmail has been around since the cave days, comes with most default 
installs, and runs great. If you get one of the tested OS installs (we use 
OpenBSD), there ren't any security issues.
