I had what sounds like the same FreeBSD upgrade this week up to 4.4 and was
informed that the server would be down from midnight to 6 am on Dec. 3rd. I
started to get errors in the maillog similar to this as of 5:35:
"Dec 3 05:36:35 xyz sendmail[20924]: gB3AaZi20924:
to="|/usr/local/majordomo/wrapper resend -l dsearch -h xyz.org
a123456,nobody2", ctladdr=<dsearch@xyz.org> (1/0), delay=00:00:11,
xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=prog, pri=65758, dsn=5.3.0, stat=unknown mailer
error 255"
I just called and was told that it's now running Sendmail 8.11.6
