I found the following:

I use Eudora Pro 3.0, and have never had any problems
with majordomo not recognizing my password.

Choose "Message > Redirect" (or "Message > Redirect
To..." if you have a Nickname set up for your list).
You must NOT have the "Turbo ReDirect by Default"
checked, under "Tools > Options > Miscellaneous".

This creates a new editable message, retaining the
original sender in the To: line, and the original
Subject: line.

Insert a line at the top of the body that reads:

Approved: [password]

This does not, however, work with Eudora 5.2 (virtually the same as 5.1).  It does not retain the original "From" address (and it can't be edited) or subject.
   Any ideas?

...Bob
