I am trying to set up majordomo using Redhat 8.0. It seems that sendmail is
working since I have several accounts that I can send mail between them.
Also my majordomo config-test indicates that I have majordomo set up ok.
When I send an email to majordomo@mysite.org I get an error message in the
mailbox of majordomo-owner that reads:
Illegal command: majordomo
Unknown mailer error 6
When I send a message to the test group I get an error message in the
mailbox of majordomo-owner that reads:
Illegal command: resend
Unknown mailer error 6
Both of these email messages are sent by the sendmail error deamon.
I have a second and unrelated question. I have looked at the
greastcirle.com website that has messages from this user group archived. Is
there a way that I can do a search on the archive to see if the Unknown
mailer error message was discussed in the past?
