This is something your MTA is doing, not majordomo.  Does the same thing
happen if the messages sent to the majordomo list are in plain vanilla
text?  Please describe your system's mail flow.  What operating system?
What MTA?  What version of majordomo?  Is anything else processing the
messages like a spam or virus filter?  What about procmail rules for the
local delivery of email?  Any forwarding or other factor that might be
having this effect?
