There is no concept of confirmation with just one email.  The
purpose of the 2nd (first and only confirmation) email is to
verify that the address requesting membership to our list is
valid/deliverable, and give the user a chance to change their
mind about joining our list before adding them.  If this does
not serve your needs, just remove the +confirm from your list
zubscribe_policy. Regardless of users not liking it, managing
the lists will be much easier for _you_ long term if you leave
it in.
