sendmail-8.12.9  works fine for me w/ mj-1.94.5
on various flavors of linux  and kernels
	rh-5.1 w/ 2.0.35
	rh-6.1 w/ 2.2.14
	rh-6.2 w/ 2.2.20
	slack-8.1 w/ 2.4.20
	slack-7.1 w/ 2.4.19
	...
	rh-7.0j w/ default kernel seems to be messy

rh-7.x boxes are too much of a headache ...
and upgraded to rh-8.x  but the ones i play with
does not host mj mailing lists

- you dont want to know of the other still older boxes :-)
