I would think this check should *not* be case sensitive, but I
would have to examing the "majordomo" and "majordomo.pl" scripts
to know for sure.
On the other hand, if you joined your list via an email command
to majordomo, I do not believe majordomo lower cased your address
before adding you to the list file. This could be a risk of
editing the list file by hand. If you edit the list to match the
case of your mail client's sender address, does the command work?
