The best way is to stripmime or demime the messages
before they are seen by the digest or archive tools.
Demime probably has a few more bells and whistles
than stripmime, but both require access to the server
that majordomo sits on. You will need to place these
tools in the proper directory and make changes to the
/etc/aliases file to trigger them. This may require
settings to be changed in your sendmail configuration
too.
A work around, if you do not have access to the server
is to set up moderation in your list, so that all email
sent to the list must be processed at another address.
Normally, this is a human, but might be automated, at
least to some degree.
