I'm having difficulty getting message footers to work with
attachments. Specifically, when I include an attachment with a message
that is supposed to have a message footer, I don't see the footer.
More specifically, I'm sending a message with a footer and an attachment to
a moderated list. When I get the BOUNCE message, I then send the message
back to majordomo with the "Approved: pwd" line at the top of the
message. Majordomo then sends the message out to the list, BUT it omits
the message footer.
I've figured out a kludge to get this working a little bit: I edit the
original BOUNCE message, adding a MIME segment containing the original
message footer at the bottom. This "sort-of" works, but surely there is a
better way??
