Sun Cobalt server / majordomo

Hello all,

everything worked really fine with my majordomo installation and
lists until my ISP decided it was time for new server hardware ...
now, I am encountering all kinds of trouble after my ISP has moved my
website and associated majordomo lists to a Cobalt Server  and its
pre-installed "majordomo" version ....  such as :

- the various majordomo aliases don't seem to work right
..(listname-owner,
   listname-request, etc)
- instead of the domain name after the @, the actual server
  designation is put into mails from the majordomo lists, resulting
in 
  error messages with reply to mails which are going to a supposedly
  "unknown" address
-- etc, etc ......

Has anyone had trouble with the pre-installed majordomo version on
this type of Sun Cobalt server rack If so, what did you do to solve
the problems?
