This is a little convoluted, but let's see if I can't 'splain it.
I have a series of lists that I use to distribute a news letter of sorts. I
may use list A, B, D and L to send out a news letter on subject 7, and lists
A, D, T and U for subject 8.
I cannot be certain that any given subscriber might not be a member of list
A and list D (let's say). In fact, any given subscriber may be members of
three or four of the lists I'm managing. The e-mail address would be the
same across each list, that is Joe User would be joe.user@some.machine
across all lists Joe is a member of.
The question: I'd like to be able to send to any one or more lists without
sending doops to poor Joe who happens to be a member of several lists.
So here's a re-statement. Joe is a member of list A, list D and list T. I
send a message to list A, list T and list U. What can I do to keep Joe from
getting two copies of the list?
Running MJ 1.94, Sendmail 8.12.8
Ideas???
Thank you.
