Roger,
it's really great you're trying to help, but I didn't ask you to fix my
problem for me. I'll try to do that on my own. I DO need help, however,
when it comes to finding out WHERE I have to look to find out what the
problem is. Of course, there are several entries in the mail log referring
to this e-mail, but that's only about how the SMTP server of the list
member connected to my server, and how the e-mail was accepted, nothing
out of the ordinary, no error messages, and no information that is in any
way different from any log entry of any e-mail sent to my account. The
only difference is the "temporary failure" part for every e-mail directed
at the majordomo list. And I don't know why this is, where it comes from
and where I could find more error messages. I do not know how to debug
majordomo, and that's why I ask.
If you ask me, this can be a problem of Postfix as well as a problem of
Majordomo. I just don't know, and I don't know how I can find out, because
all other e-mail is delivered just fine, and I don't find any other error
message. When I run wrapper with config-test it displays "no problem
encountered", and there's no entry in majordomo's log that could help me.
So, again, is there anybody here on the list who can give me some advice
regarding WHERE to look and WHAT to look for. I don't know why majordomo
doesn't accept e-mails anymore, and I'd like to find out as soon as
possible. Any help is really appreciated.
cu,
Tom
