Bad File Descriptor Error

I think this problem may be an Adelphia.net problem at this time but could grow
to
other servers.

here is the situation...

I have a list with over 500 address. 100 of them are an adelphia.net address.
If I send to complete list ....
mail log show the "Deffered: Bad File Descriptor"
mail queue file shows "Deferred: 421 Service Unavalible"

it seams that MJ if putting 20 or so email addresses with the message before it
sends it.
I get the errors if this is the case.

If MJ has placed less than 20 messages in the TO field then the messege is
accepted
and I get no errors
......
I changed the include file to only have 30 of the adelphia messages in it (400
total),
the list works just fine.

Any Ideas...

can I configure MJ to limit the number of addresses it places in the TO field.
