I am connecting to my server via ssh. Both my local machine and the
server use bash.
I run:
- Majordomo 1.94.5
- Perl 5.6.1
- Apache 1.3.36
The configure script claims that I am running Korn. It then freezes,
even after waiting or pressing enter multiple times. I tried with
diffrent shells:
picard:/usr/majordomo-1.94.5/majorcool# sh Configure
(Korn shell detected. Some ksh's blow up on Configure.
If so, try the Bourne shell instead.)
picard:/usr/majordomo-1.94.5/majorcool# csh Configure
export: Command not found.
This isn't sh. Feeding myself to sh.
(Korn shell detected. Some ksh's blow up on Configure.
If so, try the Bourne shell instead.)
picard:/usr/majordomo-1.94.5/majorcool# bash Configure
(Korn shell detected. Some ksh's blow up on Configure.
If so, try the Bourne shell instead.)
"bash Configure" is no diffrent from "sh Configure".
picard:/usr/majordomo-1.94.5/majorcool# l `which sh`
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Dec 29 10:03 /bin/sh -> bash
Is this my problem?
À prochaine,
Julien

In current economics, wealth stagnates with materialism, dissipates
with energy and material waste and dissapears with any kind of
centralization.
