You assume correct. All of these things are as they should be. This
is an oddball intermittent problem where easily a hundred messages will
go to a given mailing list, and then one will fail. I have been looking
for patterns (load average too high, etc), but have not yet been able to
figure out a pattern.
I upgraded to majordomo 1.94.5 on that machine since posting mu notice.
I don't believe there were any patches that would affect this, but
just in case...
