oh, please help! I've been trying to get majordomo and majorcool installed
and working, for several hours. I have tested majordomo and it works fine -
by manually creating aliases and list files. But I need to make creating
lists easy for someone that has never used a linux commandline before. So
I am installing Majorcool. However --

When I create a new list in majorcool, I specify the correct information in
the four fields, for listname, list description, password and owner email
address. I get no errors after I submit this form. Moreover, when I check
the filesystem, it has properly created list files.
(/usr/local/majordomo/lists/newlist and
/usr/local/majordomo/lists/newlist.config)

When I check /usr/local/majordomo/majordomo_aliases, it has added
information about my new list here. But it is the -wrong- information. I
get the same (UNAVAILABLE) thing for each list I add. I included the header
to this file in case it helps anyone help me ;) The new list I added is at
the bottom of the pasted text below:

#-----------------------------------------------------------------------
# BEGIN MAJORDOMO CONFIGURATION (majordomo_aliases)
# Built by mj_build_aliases (Rev. 2.0)
#-----------------------------------------------------------------------
#
majordomo: "/etc/smrsh/wrapper majordomo"
majordomo-owner: -m
owner-majordomo: -m
owner-owner: -m
listmanager: -m
corp-pubs: "/etc/smrsh/wrapper mj_filter"
#
# new1 (UNAVAILABLE)
#
new1: "/etc/smrsh/wrapper mj_list-unavail new1"
new1-request: "/etc/smrsh/wrapper majordomo -l new1"

does anyone know what is going on? I am so close to getting this working :(

Thanks!
Tim
