I have several lists like this and have never had a problem with the
'restrict-post' function.
Is the authorised sender list located in the same dir that the test list
files are?
Do you have the $PATH set right in the list.config file? (i.e. must be
*relative* not absolute)
Are the names properly seperated (by a ',' or a ' ')?
Does the list work without the 'restrict-post' setting set?
If the answer to all the above is 'yes' then got me why it doesn't work.
I have lists that use other lists as the 'restrict-post' setting and
others that use totally manual lists to limit sending. I'll see if there
is anything I'm missing (it has been a while) but other than the above I
can't see why it wouldn't work.

Subject: Restricting Lists
Hello,
Does anyone know how to retrict a list so only certain people not
contained in a list can send to it. For example I have a list called
test and it populated with various people and I have a file called
test-senders that contains a list of a few people who are the only
people that can send to the list test. I went into the config file
and told the test list to look at this file in the retstict_post
option, but it doesn't work. From the research I have done it looks
like I need to alter or add an alias to do this, but I'm not sure
exactly how to change the pre-existing alias so it will work.
Can anyone help?
Im running Majordomo 1.94.5
Thanks,
Nicholas Gaspar
