Subject: using a list as a list owner

Pardon me if this is a duplicate - I posted it a couple hours ago but
haven't seen it come back, so I fear it may have gotten lost along the way...

Hi,

I am trying to setup a list as a list owner, as suggested in some of the
Majordomo docs. The purpose of this is to give multiple people control
over approving of subscriptions.

When some kind of admin request is posted to the secondary list, the
secondary list always bounces it with a message like:

BOUNCE listname@mydomain.com: Admin request: /^subject:\s*unsubscribe\b/i
Admin request of type /\buns\w*b/i at line 3

or

BOUNCE listname@mydomain.com: Admin request of type /\bsubscribe\b/i at line 5

--------------

The bounces occur because *majordomo* automatically inserts the offending
text into either the subject line or the message body when processing the
request.

What's the magic way to get the secondary list to allow majordomo's normal
messages to get through to it? I can't find anything in the config file
that says something like "ignore admin requests".

Thank you,
Howard
