Can't majorcool to display the lists

earlier today I had this problem..
When I do a browse for lists it only shows lists that were present when I installed majorcool.

It there a setting that I need to get it to display all lists in the /majordomo/lists directory and the alias file??


NOW I get this error ...   Could Not Open List <dif>: Permission denied

so I have gone from bad to worse in some ways ...  also having problems with the cache updating program
mj_key_cache

any help would be appreciated..
